Before your appointment
- Bring a list of your current medications and allergies.
- Bring recent blood tests, urine tests and imaging reports if available.
- Bring home blood pressure readings if you monitor your blood pressure.
- Prepare a short list of your main concerns and questions.
Common investigations
Depending on the reason for referral, assessment may include blood tests, urine tests, kidney ultrasound, blood pressure monitoring and review of previous hospital records.
